 Implementing Cisco Collaboration Devices (CICD) v1.0 é um curso de 5 dias que segue o blueprint do ICOMM. A principal diferença é que inclui tópicos de video e os tópicos relacionados ao Cisco Unity Express foram removidos.

CICD v1.0 também introduz um novo tipo de lab chamado de Discovery Lab. Discovery Labs são um ambiente de aprendizado e permitem aos alunos aprender princípios e tecnologias numa forma mais interativa, com mais mão-na-massa (hands-on). Os Discovery Labs estão localizados no guia do aluno (Student Guide), embutidos nas lições.
